Traditional Bar Machines

Machines with a barista behind them, from a one-group cart to a four-group bar.

This is what most cafes buy, and the choice inside it comes down to three things: how many drinks at peak, how much control the bar wants over each shot, and how much counter you actually have. A two-group machine serves most rooms. A three-group is for a queue that does not stop. A four-group is a stadium or a hotel breakfast.

The other axis is control. Semi-automatic means the barista stops the shot. Auto-volumetric means the machine does, to a programmed volume. Machines with scales weigh every shot as it pours. Paddle and lever machines put pressure in the barista's hand. None of these is better than the others. They suit different bars and different staff turnover.

We install, plumb and service everything here ourselves, and we will tell you honestly when a smaller machine is the right answer. If you already know the maker, shop by brand.

These are call-to-order. We list MSRP so you know the range, then we talk. We can usually beat an advertised price, we make sure the machine matches your volume, your space and your power, and we package the machine, grinder, filtration and install together.
