The Ditting KR1203 is the retail bulk grinder for a store grinding 25 to 60 lbs of coffee a day: a coffee retail counter, a gourmet market, a roaster's shop floor. It is built to grind bag after bag safely, with simple controls and nothing fragile on it.
If you expect to grind more than 60 lbs a day, look at the KR1403 instead; it is the same family, sized for high-traffic stores and roasters.
The standard hopper holds 2.4 lbs of beans. Ditting USA sells a hopper extension that sits on top of it and takes capacity to 5 lbs; it is available only through Ditting USA and fits only current KR1203 and KR1403 grinders. We stock the KR1203 in black or stainless steel.
