The Ditting KR1403 is the bulk grinder for a high-traffic coffee retail store or a roaster grinding more than 60 lbs of coffee a day. Same family as the KR1203, stepped up for the volume: robust, simple to run, and safe for staff who grind all day.
If your store grinds between 25 and 60 lbs a day, the KR1203 is the right size and the better buy; the KR1403 earns its place above that line.
The standard hopper holds 2.4 lbs of beans. A hopper extension from Ditting USA sits on top and takes capacity to 5 lbs; it is sold only through Ditting USA and fits only current KR1203 and KR1403 grinders. We stock the KR1403 in black or stainless steel.
